hi there, this could be that your dog isnt crunching up the pieces well enough before swallowing...i dont like feeding oxtail personally (unless it is in one massive piece) as i found that as it is usually in small chunks and they are not ideal for encouraging proper crunching before swallowing...

re the offal - any offal is fine really - just use the normal rules with feeding any new food, i.e. introduce a little at a time. I feed maggie lamb heart on a regular basis and she rally likes them - they are a nice tough chewy meal! hearts are classed as meat in the raw feeding scheme of things as they are a muscle. but things like kidneys are good to feed and a small amount of liver etc. you have to be careful with the amount of liver you give - for example on a completely raw fed diet it should only make up 5% of overall intake. all offal can give upset tums if not introduced slowly, so just be careful with how much you give of new things...
