Question video-links: adult dogs play with pups *What Do U See?*

Beagle attacks Rott
YouTube - Beagle Puppy Attacks Rottweiler
this M-pup is 9-WO and very co-ordinated; he is also very, very excited + plays pretty rough with the adult-M Rott (who has recently had some ? surgery? - his entire belly + lower torso have been shaved; thats skin with stubble, not haircoat).

A: Beagle dam plays with several of her pups
YouTube - Beagle Puppies & Mom Playtime
these infants are just 4-WO; they are wobbly + slow, without much endurance.
notice how much more self-handicapping Mom does, compared to the Rott w/older pup;
at the START Watch the lemon + white M - he is Not Sure how much of this is play, he hesitates, tail falls then comes up, freezes, cowers momentarily, etc.

B: same litter + dam; everybody is involved
YouTube - Beagle Puppies Playing with Mom
NOW - look at the same Lemon + White M-pup!
see how much bolder he is? he has learnt to recognize PLAY, even bolder, more intrusive play from his mum, without any hesitation - it is no longer a tentative activity, he is brash + engaging.
this is fun!

a 5 to 6-MO M-Dobe pup and a 9 to 12-MO F-Rott in a neighborhood park (Italy)
YouTube - Rottweiler VS Dobermann
the Dobe has just a nubbin tail - maybe ONE vertebra! the Rott has her entire sabre-tail.
watch the curving body-lines, loose movement, rocking-horse runs.
NOTICE how much harder it is to parse the Dobe sans tail, than the Rott!

contrast ALL of those encounters with THIS one -
Terrier x Chi M-pup, maybe 9-WO; young-adult F-GSD perhaps 12 to 15-MO
YouTube - Cute puppy attacks German Sheppard
the GSD is very apropos + wants only to play - the TERRIERIST-mix is scared, uncertain,
very threatening, vocal - ATTACKS the GSD from ambush, the GSD converts it to a game,
but notice the puppy bites so hard repeatedly that the GSD yelps at one point.
does a lot of self-calming, shakes-off, disengages, does NOT laugh-pant -
listen to the GSD U can clearly hear the irregular laugh-pant of a happy, non-threatening dog.
the Terrierist-mix is mostly CLOSE-mouthed (tension) and growling, not laughing.
he is playing, but frightened.
this Chi-mix is a dog that i would fully-expect to be difficult life-long with other dogs,
ESPECIALLY same-sex; if i saw this in a clients pup, i would suggest that they talk to the vet
about both the behavior + desex between 4 + 5-MO; a toy-dog matures physically faster,
and his legs epiphyses will be closed by 16 to 18-WO.
the less spike in his testosterone, the better as he goes into puberty.
he will IMO need some behavioral intervention - the longer it is delayed, the worse his dog:dog behavior,
and the more intensive, complex + slow his B-Mod.

other than the GSD wrapping both wrists over the Chi-X to save her face by restraining him mildly -
was there any restraint of pups by adults?
Was there even ONE instance of rolling by the adult?
did U see pinning? neck-pokes or muzzle-punches? other than the Chi-X were there hard bites?

i did not SELF-select these, except as pups with adults -
heres a copy of my search-page;
YouTube - beagle attacksd rottweiler
around 11-pm last night, i saw the Beagle-Attacks-Rott on another website WITHOUT attribution or permission;
i dislike patronizing such un-ethical ppl
, so i hunted it up on U-Tube, posted by the Rotts owner.

if i can stumble-over a random bunch of pups + dogs at play, and there are none of the punishing or quashing behaviors so often described by a certain smiling TV-presenter i rather doubt they are so universal + ubiquitous as he claims...
funny how after over-20-years in dogs, >> I << have yet to see any of them OTHER * THAN during fights.

anybody else have video of Adults Playing With Pups? if so, please share!
thanks so much,
--- terry
