Re: Breeding Back To Back
Its so sad when so much thought has gone into planning a litter and it goes pear shaped. This was my friends first litter that she had carefully planned before she even bought her bitch - she'd researched the lines she wanted, done all the recommended health checks and a load more besides and tried to do everything right - then her poor girl had such a rotten time of it - there was only two pups anyway and one had got stuck coming out as he was big and the little bitch puppy was dead behind him - if they hadnt done the caeserian they would have all died without a doubt.
It makes you so mad when people just shove any two dogs together and dont give a stuff and end up with a healthy litter and someone who does the right thing ends up with a load of hassle - but my friend is just soooooo grateful that she still has her girl and one gorgeous chunky boy - he's a right porker having the milk bar to himself
