Hi all so i had written a post already but Diesel managed to jump onto the laptop and it's gone, I'm not sure where lol, might have posted but i can't see it so i guess he shut the page lol.
He's doing really well he's a good wee thing. He's good on his walks a little pulling to start with but he's getting better with that, i can let him off the lead and he comes back when called about 90% of the time, he doesn't really go far anyway and were in a massive park/field where there are no cars.
He is getting so much better when left on his own also. He is only left during the day for about 30 minutes twice a week sometimes not at all, just depends if i have to leave for work before the babysitter arrives. He's sleeping in the kitchen at night so i'm actually getting to sleep in a bed
Hes great with my nephew as well, doesn't mind maxx using his tail as a hoover lol.
The advice I need is:
If i put him in the kitchen for example tonight i put him in there whilst my sisters were eating as he was jumping up at them, well as soon as i left him and shut the door he pee'd on the floor O.o I never tell him off for peeing i just clean it up and that's that. He doesn't pee overnight and when he's through with us during the day we never have any accidents. Also i had let him out twice 10 minutes before i put him in the kitchen and both times he pee'd so he wasn't desperate. It's like he's after attention, but i don't get it as i don't react to it.
Also he is allowed onto the sofa to cuddle and sleep during the day though he has his bed in the kitchen. Sometimes if he is lifted off the sofa he will growl, he's told off for this. Hes fine when you pick him up for anything else it's just taking him off the sofa. Is he saying it's my sofa? Any ideas on how to combat this other than what were doing? Should i just stop him coming onto the sofa all together?
