Simba's age seems to have caught up with him & he is finding it very hard to jump He had a check over last wednesday & the vet couldnt find anything wrong & thought he prob suffering from arthritus & just jarred his hip & gave him a jab of Metacam & he was fine but it must have worn off yesterday & we are back to square one now We have Metacam for one of the dogs he has to have it everyday but it goes in his food, I know cats are different & dont want him to have the cat version to much but is it available in a medcine form or is always injected

My cat Lulu is on liquid Metacam administered by syringe at the moment for tooth problems. It is awkward, sticky stuff and you get more on yourself than down the cat usually. I'm not really happy with it as my mum's cat was on it for about a year and then nearly died recently with a very severe liver inflammation.
