Before I chose the first stud I went to, I went to lots of shows and looked at the cats I liked the look at, saw who their fathers were and went from there, checked that the pedigrees were what I wanted, I wanted an outcross to my girl, then went to visit them and narrowed it down from there. Its best to have a couple, incase when you want to take your girl the stud is busy then you can try your back up boy.
