thought I would post an update as we bit the bullet and took Maya down with us in the car. Wasn't as bad as we were expecting and with my well prepared clean up kit in the back it was ok lol.

We split the journey into 2 x 2 hours chunks with a half hour walk at camperdown country park in Dundee at the halfway point. she was sick twice in the 1st half within half an hour of leaving but to my amazement nothing at all for the second half. thought we were winning but did a small 15 min trip whilst we were away and she managed to poo on that one!

On the way back she pooed within 5 mins of leaving then was ok the rest of the way. After the stop she was ok all the way home till we got 15 mins from home and she was sick from eating rabbit poo!!!

so all in all it wasnt the total distaster we we were dreading not perfect but was ok, I had spare newspaper, wipes, kitchen roll, disinfectant spray and carrier bags all at the ready which made life a lot easier!

I also covered the crate which I think def did help as instead of looking around so much she seemed to settle down much quicker.
