Re: agression problem need some advise

Dog aggression is "dog" aggression. Human aggression is Human aggression. Yes the two can appear in the same dog but if the dog has never displayed human aggression then it's wrong to think that it poses a danger to a baby or child. I think you really have to address the dogs aggression with direct action. If you've exhausted all avenues then I suggest Ecollar aversion therapy. I have used it on severe dog aggression cases and it's very affective. you need an experienced ecollar trainer for this...DON'T DO IT YOURSELF. However it may be that you haven't exhausted all avenues with you dog yet. I would not try to fix this problem with information from a forum. You need professional help and one on one behavior modification for your dog. where are you perhaps i can recommend a specialist to you.
I understand there's a risk with dogs but it's unfair to suggest that the only course of action is to get rid of the dog. I rehabilitate aggression dogs and they can be "fixed". There's a chance any dog can turn aggressive so I think you need to look at your dogs and your position in there eyes, within the pack structure. There are so many reasons for dog aggression, it's not always down to dominant behavior, even though that's how it may appear to you. Often dogs that display these problems are by true nature insecure.
