I would like her to get used to dry but most people wean pups on wet food and its difficult to try and get them to switch! Cola was a rescue pup and her foster family gave her meat with mixer biscuit.

She seems to enjoy the dry and when its mixed with a little water its like gravy. I will try and keep her on that for now but think I will invest in some naturediet for a change now and then as she really enjoys her meat!

Thanks for all the responses, the tip about adding water has been invaluable since I have 2 huge bags of JWB and I thought they would go to waste!
wet the whole food and then put less and less water into it until she is completely just on dry food without it being moistened!

i will be doing this with vegas, she is on burns but i am wetting it because she is woofing it down and choking herself. she eats slower when its moist, so hopefully she will learn to eat slow all the time, so she can just have it dry!
