I do use the Dettol wipes on my works tops from time to time, and Milton spray but I not sure if they are 'safe' but I've had no problems so far, but I have brought a steam cleaner and steam the kitchen work tops and floor a couple of times a week as it doesn't use chemicals but kills bugs and bacteria.
