Yes, registered cats have a full pedigree. They are either registered with FIFe, TICA or GCCF. There are rules & regulations that we have to abide by, like not breeding from a queen more than 3 times in 2 years, though personally I only breed mine once a year, if that. We have to keep the kittens til they are 13 weeks too. The pedigree also says wether you can breed from that particular cat or has to be neutered. If you hav'nt got a registered pedigree cat, then i'm affraid you can't register it yourself, the breeder has to do that before the kittens leave, if they've not done that then they are obviously not registered with any of the 3 governing bodies.
