Re: Advice on neutered female who had kittens January
Hi
Yes the coat - her tail looks as though a bad hairdresser has cut chunks out of it and her ruff is non-existant. She is very energetic and self-confident - no probs there - and I adopted a neutered MC male (2 ) from the same breeder - they get on very well.
I got them weighed today at the vet - the female is 3.9 kg and the male is 4.7 kg - both are lively and energetic. The male is 2 years old and neutered.
My MC who died was fed solely on IAMs (which is now frowned upon) and very very occaisonal raw chicken which he would have died for but he lived to 15 which is good for a MC.
The female MC was a breeding queen therefore must have had attributes which were desireable but is very petite (IMHO) for a MC. I want to make sure I do my best for her - not to make her fat - but to make sure her coat is up to MC standards - she is actually very, very pretty (silver tortie) and very self confident
