Those owners get on my nerves too, it's amazing how much busier the places we walk are in summer and usually they are clueless as you said. However all my dogs are non-aggresive. Milo will only fight if there is absolutly no way of getting away from the situation, Jayjay seems to be going the same way and Trinny will just run back to me at the first sign of any trouble.

I encountered an idiot with an aggresive dog off lead today, it approached my three who were drinking out the pond and then growled and started snapping when they turned to introduce themselves. They all reacted as stated above and the other dog walked off, the owner didn't even attempt a recall, just stood there and watched. It does make me think when things like this happen but I refuse to punish my well behaved, friendly dogs because of idiots like this.
