Hi Ruth, Welcome to you My 10 yr old has a mouse, she is called Angel. We've had mice since she was a baby, they lived in big glass tanks with loads of toys, lol. only 1 left now though. I rescued lots a couple of years ago and they all developed cancer was very upsetting.
