Hiya! I dont think it should matter really .... its what you want yourself, ie personal choice. We have 4 cats all different breeds...Ragdoll, Exotic Shorthair, Persian and British Shorthair Variant and we are awaiting very eagerly for the arrival of our beloved chosen Bengal Girl in 7 weeks time! They are get along pretty much ok but we make sure they have plenty of space if they want time away from each also. We are currently building a cat run (fingers crossed finished this weekend!!). We also have 3 children so they are all pretty robust and get along with things really. Go with what you would like, but thats just my opinion. Also, British Shorthairs apparently have the reputation of getting along with almost anything......so I am told...good luck!
