Its not a myth at all, any animal especially with a delicate tum shouldnt be switched onto a completely different diet straight away. betz was having very loose stool and i was not going to upset her more, she had been on felix for 3 years and been used to it, i would have been mad to switch her immediately im sure that just common sense? Also if a cat is used to a food unless you are very lucky they arent always eager to change so by doing it gradually so they dont notice they develop a taste for the new food. I dont know about changing from a cat food to a raw diet however because i have not done that myself.
