Re: Dog bites my dog

Don't get me wrong I am not going to go to court over this but for her to know her dog is dog aggresive - as she stated whilst pinning it down after the attack - then why the hell has she not got a muzzle on it? For that fact alone I would like a word with her.

The moors are full of dogs off leash every morning, very few of which actually pay attention to the recall and every dog that has come over to us until the incident has just been wanting to play. Dillon does come on the recall but it's pretty hard for him to come back when there is a bigger dog hanging onto his neck.

I have met one other dog in the last few months that is dog aggresive and that dog was on a lead as the owner was aware of what reaction the dog would have.

The problem with the incident is that Dillon didn't go charging off across country and they didn't approach us, they just came face to face after we all came over a small mound and then all hell broke loose.

Why is she taking the chance for something like this to happen if she knows how her dog will react to any other dog?

It baffles me and it is something I can't comprehend.

Rant over, temp dropping, red mist clearing and heartbeat dropping.
