I know its an old thread but things were goin so well and have just stopped sometimes even worse.

We have had loads of dry runs around the block so started to take the dogs up to the forest. Its really no longer than 5 mins in the car and as soon as you open the boot the pup can't get in quick enough! so I know shes not scared anymore. But yesteday even though we waited till she'd just done a poop she managed to poop twice and be sick in that short journey. She had a nice walk and then just a wee on the way back.

My problem is my OH's mum passed away on Sunday and we have to go down to Glasgow for the funeral Monday and spend a few days down there sorting the house out and stuff, I have no one who will be able to look after the puppy so she's gonna have to come with us. How will she be able to cope with a 4 hour journey when she struggles with a 5 min one? I really don't know what to do, OH says I should maybe stay home but I really want to be there for him. Can't see in 2 days shes gonna be ready for this when in a month shes still not able to go just up the road. HELP!
