I would get the guineapig a companion they really do need company but as you said the bunny should be fine as long as you get him neutered im sure he will be ok, you have to put up with some qirks till they settle, its like having a puppy. Saffron my doe was a nightmare until i got her done but she is very worth all the hassle she gave me

Whatever you decide its probably best to keep him alone and give him lots of attention so you build your relationship up with him. This is what i did with joey, i sat with him for hours in the lounge so he was with me on his terms, i have a beautiful relationship with him now, i go out and he jumps on my lap for head rubs and cuddles. I got him saffy when he was 6 months old and they adore eachother, i was going to keep him on his own but felt bad when i went to work. Lots of people have one bunny though. I hope it all works out for you.
I get like that after a few sleepless nights with kids . Rabbit loves to come in house and sit on settee watching tv with kids. Off to pet shop when i drop little 1 at nursery to get Guinea pig a friend will be another female other wise we would be over run eldest wants to breed them but i know for a fact they would never leave .
