Re: Puppy Fat

We got Jessie just before she was 1 and Daisy is 3 weeks younger they were from the same place but not same litter we only new the people we had her from because they looked so alike when they were younger we got chatting and realised we had got them from the same breeder . they still do look alike but jess is that bit heavier . Some vets would have you trim him up now some would say he is still growing and needs the callories , i would be looking to maybe not let him get any heavier and let him grow into his weight and hopefully by the time he is 15 months he should still be at about 32 klo and looking trimmer . The only reasn i would worry is because of what we have found with Daisy , she has a condition in her elbow like arthritis that could have been caused through too much exercise while in her growing stage 6-9 months and we were told as labs do suffer with joints to always keep her on the lighter side . Glad i didnt see the little lad i would have snapped him up .
