Am so sorry about Poppy.
I'm the same, my cats don't go out either. I learnt the hard way many years ago, our young moggy was poisoned!!! Since then i've never let another cat out. Now we have our pedigrees I would'nt anyway. I think you know when the time will be right to get another kitten if or when you want to.
