Personally I don't beleive in caging cats/kittens. When I introduce a new member to the household I put the carrier that they come home in with the door open in a room where I can keep an eye and just let them all do things at their own pace. Shutting cats in a room together will only make more trouble as they can't get away from each other and have their own space. Theres always a bit of hissing, but we've never yet had any fighting.
