There is very little you can do,taking the legal route would not go very far I suspect as it was a verbal contract and nothing in writing.Did you not think to look at the bitches paperwork to see if there were any endorsements/restrictons placed,again this is something we insist on seeing plus all the health certificates if there not on the KC documentation.

I suspect the breeder of the bitch wouldn't be happy knowing that the bitch has been mated having placed endorsements,you could always ask for the breeders name and let her know what's happened,if it were me I would want to know.
If not put it down to experience and hopefully a harsh lesson learn't.
There is a right and wrong way to breed and in all honesty this isn't a good start.
