ok guys.. bit of a complicated story.. but cutting it short we used our Siberian Husky as a stud just over 3 weeks ago now ( first timers). The lass who owns the bitch told me that the dog was in season and wanted to mate her but she wasn't being paid for just over a week or so after the mating and could I hold on til she got that months wage. I agreed (I know the lass.. lives locally)
Anyway.. two matings took place and they tied both times.
we agreed a fee before hand and her payday has been and gone and i've only recieved 1/3 of the money asked for so far. I've sent her a few texts.. but each time she keeps putting me off. I've already told her that if the bitch doesn't take that she can have a free mating next time.. she was happy with this... so surely my entire fee should have been paid by now.. but she's saying that I won't get any more til she finds out if the bitch is pregnant or has pups! is this right????
I've checked the encyclopedia part of the forum and it says that the bitches owner should pay the fee after the mating.
The other thing is that we've also found out ( after the mating) that her dog has also been used outside of restrictions!
ok so we should have checked before hand ... but this is the first time we've studded the dog.. so not sure what should be happening.. help !!!!
