Cheers guys - thankyou so much for your help. I have just phoned Vets 4 Pets in Darlington which is about 15 miles away from us and they have quoted £80. I have booked her in for 2 weeks for a check up prior to the op just to make sure she is alright because of the phantom pregnancy. They are going to clip her nails for £7.50 while she is sedated and check her teeth too. What a difference in price - that is nearly half price
