I find that record keeping is not a strong point with many vets. Mine tend to insist on putting all kittens notes on the dam's cards unless you expressly tell them that each kitten needs to have its own card since they will all be going to different homes and the new owners will NEED PROOF of their kitten having been vaccinated.

Also, my two year old young queen had somehow managed to be noted on her mother's notes - she really does need to have her own notes because the stud owner will require to see that she has had her vaccinations up to date before being allowed in to see the boy.
