Hi All

My 6 month Irish puppy is a real problem with her jumping up at people. She use to do it to us but I was told to put my knee up every time she goes to jump at us and now she has stopped, which is great........problem is she does it to every one who enters our house and even if we meet people out on our walks. She just loves people and children and jumps up which is very embarressing at times.

My elderly mother in law visits regularly and Tilly almost knocks her off her feet if I don't get to her first to stop the jumping. My mother in law can't lift her knee up to Tilly or she may fall over so I just don't know how to stop this.

Today my sister and brother in law came to visit and within 1 min of them entering our house they both has muddy paw prints on there cloths. Ive even tried putting her in another room while visitors come in but she gets so worked up and when I do let her out to see them she is sooooo excited she jumps even more.

I know she is just a puppy and loves everyone but I have to nip this in the bud before she knocks someone over and hurts them. My young sons friends also come to the house and i don't want Tilly to jump up at them

Any Ideas?
