We have all of ours microchipped and think it is a very good idea. I know there is controversay about the chips moving but in all the years and dogs we have had chipped, only one has actually moved and that is in our present pup. We felt/saw a small lump at the bottom of his neck on one side, took him back to the vets and the vet said he was 100% sure it was the chip. Think most rescues and vets scan all over if they get a stray in. It definitely would not put us off chipping.
