Insurance..
Hi all,
I've been looking for insurance for my kitten and have checked pretty much all of the big insurers, and I've noticed that many of them require the cat to be vaccinated against feline leukemia, which has been linked to an aggressive cancer called fibrosarcoma.
As my cat will be indoors and in a cat-proofed garden he won't risk being infected with feline leukemia, so it seems wrong to me to risk him getting cancer from the vaccine when he won't ever be at risk of contracting the disease.
Does anyone know how picky insurers generally are when it comes to this? Has anyone been refused payment on their insurance because a vaccine was missing?
