Some dogs are very allergic to Febreeze we campaigned down here to have it removed from by the pet stuff - a dog I used to handle was brought to a show and she had sprayed his bed with febreeze by the time we got him out of the car he had pistules all over him and we had to wash him down at the show to try and get the offending substance of him, another one was an elkhound with an eye problem which the vets could not solve I asked the owner if she used febreeze which she did in her car she stopped using it the eye cleared up!!!! Another one that can set up skin probs is shake'n'vac all daily household things but can be a problem to some dogs and the dobe with a short coat these things would be absorbed into the skin quite quickly before they have time to 'wear' off.
