Did you get a contract with your Bengal? If so.. doesn't it state that the cat has to be kept indoors? Please check before you let your cat out to play with cars.
It sounds to me like you didn't know what you were getting when you got a Bengal. Get him some company so that he has someone to bounce around with.
Letting him outside is the cat owners equivalent of putting a child in front of the telly as a babysitter. Sure - he'll love it, that is until he's dead. If you think he's going to stay in the cul de sac and not head up to the nearest main road then you're mistaken.
Brits have this crazy idea that it's not 'fair' to keep the cat inside. Would you let a dog out to roam? If not, why not?
