I thoroughly agree with everything Sallyanne has said. I just have one more piece of advice - look into breeder's insurance. If anything goes wrong, it won't be covered by your normal insurance - and you can bet your life that if something is going to go wrong it will be in the middle of the night and it will be very costly. Our emergency vet is 15 miles away, and it costs £125.00 just to get across the doorstep - that's without the cost of consultation, treatment, c-section etc.
