I think they do, ours meowed like crazy for a few days but eventually they started to enjoy raw meats just as much! You could try giving him raw beef or lamb mince instead of the pouches! Freeze and defrost it first though unless you want to read into all the risks of feeding fresh!



I'd recommend Orijen Dry Cat Food, it's biologically appropriate i.e. 75% meat and 25% fruit and veg, no cereals/grains!



My cats have Orijen Dry Cat Food available all day everyday and raw meats two or three times a day! Like most cats they let me know when they want some!

I feed raw meat from the supermarket or butchers, that way I know it's human grade meat. You can get it from specialist suppliers but I'm a little reluctant to try that as there's no guarentees it's human grade. If you can afford to give organic meats that is best.
