I actually think him going over was the safest thing that could have happened to him - he's the type of horse that really takes a hold when he gets going at just an ordinary canter, I wouldn't have had a hope in hell in trying to stop him today.

He's bolted with me once before, I'd thought I'd been bolted with previously but I remember sitting there thinking 'Jesus, this is what my friend meant when he told me I'd only ever been run away with before and not bolted'

I know I'll be fine, but I'm worried what it's done to him mentally. He's not the bravest horses by any stretch of the imagination - I just hope he'll let me (or rather my trusty jockey friend I'm going to rope into sitting on him for me now I'm out of action) near him with tack again much less try and get on him and take him out.
