We always put him in his crate till he has calmed down but if he comes out and does it again he goes straight back in!! All I can say is the best thing we ever done was buy a crate lol!! He sleeps in it all night no problems!! We have also changed his food as he was on Bakers and was told it was like giving your dog a bag of skittles He is now on Burns adult food, so fingers crossed he may calm down a bit!!
