 Sad sad news. Dear Herbert was put to sleep on Wednesday. Despite the best efforts of all vets involved he continued to deteriorate and they eventually opened him up and there was a huge cancerous mass in his intestine, too integrated with blood vessels to remove. I cannot believe just how bereft we feel. After nearly 9 years together, he has left a huge Herbert shaped hole that will never be filled. |
