Muddy was diagnosed with IBD, he was very ill and was put onto steroids, it was a mixture of the two which made him look like that.
BUT the steroids were at such a high level, because at the time our vet thought that this was the best treatment, that he lost a lot of his pads. That is why he had the bandages.
The vet later found that Sulfasalazine, could be a treatment, and it worked
We feed him tinned Chappie with JWB ocean white fish as treats. We do not allow him anything else, it could kill him!!!!
I must say, that 3 years on, his tum does seem to be able to tolerate the odd bit of scavenging on his part
3-4 years ago it would certainly have made him very ill
