he has already had a seditive today, but whne i asked the vet there she said its best to leave it on but now he is getting stressed, ive taken it off and he is much more relaxed. Washed his face for about 15 mins and then went to eat his food and will probably sleep soon too.

Think he is much happier. I'll try keep an eye on him.

Hopefully he wont lick the wound when im not watching though
