I have looked at the photos of Cassie - she is lovely.

I jsut wanted to share something with you. I lost my most special friend, Nelson, in May this year, and I had a really hard time at first with my new puppy - I couldnt stop comparing! But then I realised I didn't want my new dog to be like Nelson. Nelson is so so special nothing can ever replace him or fill that place in my heart. My whole world fell apart when I lost him...and my life will never be complete without him, but that doesn't mean I can't keep living and making the most of my life.

I realised I got my new puppy, Bella, because Nelson taught me how rewarding it is to love a dog, not because I wanted to replace Nelson. And I am now very happy with my new puppy. She is her own character and she keeps me busy and I am happy I can give her a good life.

I am sure you will have better luck with Cassie than with Dante. Just don't give up and remeber that Charlie will ALWAYS be special and you will always love him...but that doesn't mean you can't love Cassie and make a new friend! I look forward to hearing about how you and your new friend get on!!!
