I agree with ChinaB-if the treatment would give your cat a "normal" quality of life and it's not gonna cripple you financially then of course,but also think about the age of your cat and would he/she be able to take the stress of going under etc,my heart goes out to you Seven-know this is a proper soul destroying decision(most of us have had to make these choices)hard as it is you have to shove your emotions underground,your vet will have hopefully have explained to you step by step what would happen-deep breath and think hard and honestly,big hugs to you and i'm sure you'll make the right choice
