Lightbulb Re: Help // housetraining, juvie-pups, security

hey, claz! :--)

unlike the other folks, i bring pup + crate together into my bedroom -
and the crate is my bedside table for the first few months, LOL.

i also set my alarm for 3-AM nightly, till pup is about 15-WO.
simplifies the process; i lay out coat, boots, have a treat in my pocket, leash is on the roof of the shipping-crate,
i get up, dress, scoop up Pup and grab leash, we are out the door, i set Pup down, wait, praise warmly/treat,
WALK Pup on leash into house, crate Pup, strip, back to bed...
elapsed time about 10-mins, LOL. (practice... )

since in most households, both parents work, and in one-person households, EVERYbody works,
i think 8-hrs of quality time in a shared activity - sleep... - is a remedial effort for the solo time.
the pups fuss less, and while nearby, are in their own space.
i can always move them further, later...

JMO and In My Experience! Ur mileage may vary...
cheers,
--- terry
