The vet gave them their leukemia shot...they both developed leukemia and died. We bought a rottweiler puppy from a registered breeder this past summer. She does not believe in vaccinations, but we did vaccinate the pup at the age of 6 months. Did you mention if the vaccines could be the problem to the vet? I believe that you should take the baby back to the breeder and have it returned to you when it hopefully recovers. I know how you feel....I spent $1500.00 on that tonkinese baby and still lost him. My breeder vaccinated my cat , but she didn't vaccinate for lukemia because of the risks, she also advised that IF some one did want to vaccinate against lukemia it should be done in the leg, so that should the worse happen it could be amputated. A cat can live without a leg, it cannot live without a neck!
