Re: recommended diet for GSD

Fenris is 16 weeks now and I changed him from Arden Grange to Hills when he was about 12 weeks . The breeder used AG and I was going to keep him on it but after talking to a few folk (one a breeder, another a vet - who my mam knows well and also someone who has a rescue shelter) I thought I would try him with something else ............the Hills was on special offer £29 for a big sack ,so got a small 3kg bag off MY vet free , slowly changed over and he was great with it .........also seemed to enjoy it more too.So off to local pet place and bought 6 sacks while they were on offer

One reason was I could get Hills locally the other was the AG made his poos runny. Since he changed over he seems much better and is not as hyper .

However, to be honest so long as the food 'does what it says' on the box and is a good standard then it is personal choice .
