Re: Colitis Diet Advice Please

not really sure about cats with colitis but i've found the burns to be great for my dog, I have a suspicion that one of his poos showed the early signs of colitis just the day before I switched (really mucousy, like a minging skin on a sausage) and they firmed right up (and shrank) straight away, I've also heard other people recommending Burns for a dog with colitis. My kittens do very well on it and though I'd say that at least a third of a cat's diet should be wet food or raw i can vouch for this as probably one of the best dry foods on the market for a number of reasons. Costs about £7.50-£8.50 for 2 kg of cat food but you really don't have to feed them as much as with cheaper biscuits so it does work out very reasonable. Hope puss feels better soon
