If they are not properly weaned, normal unweaned kitten poo is yellowy/orangey brown. You don't normally see it because Mum cleans it up. A trip to the vets to be sure is a good idea, but if its not runny, then, it could just be normal poo on the change with the introduction of something other than Mums milk.
