I have a 13 week old shitzhu pup. Since have had she she has sufferred from blood and mucus in her pooh. A few days of Hills I/D tinned food always does the trick and she has 'normal' poohs. However they vet has said to try her on the dry version of the i/d and the blood and mucus is back. Its exactly the same stuff but dry.... Could it be that she doesnt get on with dry food???

The vet is sure its her food as the only time she suffers is when we start changing her food. How long should i keep trying with the dry i/d??

I dont mind her having a wet diet if thats what suits her but have no idea what the best.

I have to add that she is a really happy pup, plays well and has a halthy coat. Its just this reaccurring problm. Any advice would be really appreciated.xxxx
