crf is the most common in elderly cats, My Perry was admitted and he was on a drip for 4 days to flush out the toxins but they cannot do that indefinately, when he came home the toxins accumalted very quickly and a side effect of this was very high blood pressure and he had a haemorrage, it is a very serious illness, but i have to say it was very expensive treatment but we decided to go with it as he was so young, have you tried Royal Canin renal diet or eukanuba renal diet we got it from vetuk.co.uk, you can by smaller quanities on ebay too.
