it is difficult to find a balance between getting your cat to eat the new food and ensuring it actually eats. my cat hated his food so i would mix it with cooked fish or chicken. my vet also mentioned cottage cheese as it is low in protein. i also had pouches and tinned but tbh i think they must have tasted pretty foul!
