Re: my cat has bad kidneys, please help :(
This site has loads of info on diet Tanya's Feline CRF Information Centre
As obligate carnivores cats need a high protein diet. From what I have read initially in the early stages its the phospherous levels in foods that are key, low protein in the later stages. There are phospherous binders that you can buy that help - renalzin is fairly new What is kidney disease I would do lots of research then go back to your vet armed with questions, and get them to help formulate a plan.
