Any foster homes around...?

I got this via email yesterday....Is there anyone that can help?

Bobby's owner went to her vet yesterday to have Bobby, her gsd/collie put down as she has a young baby, also a terrier, and can't cope. The dog is perfectly healthy! The vet asked her if she had thought of any other options rather than putting the dog down and she said she didn't know of any other options. Thank god the vet said no to putting down the dog and gave the lady dogsfriends number.

However, we don't have room for her as there are not enough foster homes. So this is an URGENT APPEAL for a foster home, or even better a permanent home asap (we have 6 days to find her a place).

We all can't believe how easily people talk about putting their dogs down!! The lady said -

"She loves this one to bits and he was jumping up on her lap to get away from other dogs while they were in the vets this morning, waiting to get rid of him!

She says he has always been a softy and good, but since her baby was born 2 weeks ago he doesn't like being left and is beginning to bite at the door frame when she leaves him. he is 8 years old.

"Bobby is an 8 year old female alsation x collie
she has been spayed ID chipped but not fully vacinated
Not had any contact with cats so cannot say how she would be with them
the only contact with another dog is with my terrier who always goes for Bobby anyway Bobby does retaliate now by grasping her head in her jaw how ever doesnt draw blood and makes more noise than anything else
she hasnt had any contact with very small children
to rehome Bobby i feel she would be better in a home where she can be with someone 24 /7 she likes company, would be better in a home with older children, likes to sleep on bottom of my bed
travels well in a car providing she is harnessed well
she is very protective to me and will growl if someone gets between me and has never bitten anyone.she has good temperment and eats anything
bad points, hates being alone, loud noises, fireworks, and vets.
when at the vets i have to hold her tight
if left alone for say 30 minutes or more she will be disruptive latest craze is chewing the wood that goes around a doorway............... attention seeking 3 year old child !
she is a dog that needs time to trust you but once you have that trust she is a wonderful companion I would like a loving home for her that has the time for her that she needs."

We beleive her 'problems' stem from her not being taken on walks.

Please call/text Louise on 07787 108 177 or email tizmelou@hotmail.com, or reply to this facebook message.

Remember, we only have 6 days left to save this dog who is still with her owner who wanted to have her put to sleep!

I will upload a picture. (Once i get one from the rescue worker!)
